It’s so easy to elevate these already delicious cream filled chocolate cupcakes! The super popular combination of chocolate and pistachio in this dessert is the best! Using Drake’s Cakes Yankee Doodles Cupcakes, the creamy center balances the richness of the chocolate and pistachio and gives you the perfect Chocolate Pistachio Cupcakes!

You will need:

1 (10.21) oz. box Drake’s Cakes Yankee Doodles Cupcakes
3/4 cup salted butter, softened
¼ cup pistachio butter
2 cups powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
1-2 TB heavy whipping cream or milk
Dark chocolate candy melts
Parchment paper
Directions for Chocolate Pistachio Cupcakes:
With a stand or hand mixer, mix the butter until fluffy. Then slowly mix in the powdered confectioners sugar.

Now mix in the pistachio butter and vanilla extract until fully incorporated and the frosting is piping consistency (you can adjust this by adding more sugar for a firmer frosting or more cream for a smoother frosting). You may also add a drop or two of green food coloring if desired.

Unwrap the Yankee Doodles cupcakes.

Pipe or spread frosting on top of the cupcake.

Finely chop pistachios that you have removed from the shell

Sprinkle the chopped pistachios on top of the frosted cupcake.

Then melt the chocolate candy coating according to package instructions.

Finally pipe a chocolate design onto parchment paper. Place in refrigerator for 15 minutes to set.

Remove chocolate decorations from the parchment paper and place on top of the cupcake.

Super easy no-bake Chocolate Pistachio Cupcakes using Drake's Cakes Yankee Doodles Cupcakes and homemade pistachio buttercream
Ingredients
