I originally created these Milano Horse Cookies way back in 2012 and thought I’d update them a little. Back then, they had chocolate cookie Milano cookies where the entire cookie was chocolate. So I thought I would try creating these with the plain Milano cookies and they turned out just as cute. You’ll love how easy these are to make with just a few store-bought ingredients, no baking required!

You will need:

1 (6 oz.) package of Milano Cookies
15 MINI Nilla Wafers
Chocolate frosting (store bought or homemade)
Candy eyes
Butterscotch or Chocolate Chips
#1M piping tip
#5 piping tip
Directions for Milano Horse Cookies:
First attach the eyes to the upper top part of the cookie with a little frosting.

Next, pipe on the mane on the top of the cookies with chocolate frosting using the #1M piping tip

Then attach 2 butterscotch or chocolate chips for the ears with a little frosting (I had butterscotch on hand so use whatever you have).

Now make 2 dots on top of the Mini Nilla Wafer for the nose

Attach the nose with a little frosting to the bottom of the Milano cookie

Then pipe the bridle along the nose with chocolate frosting using the #3 piping tip

Now you have the most adorable little Milano Horse Cookies! They are so fun and easy to make and they are a great party activity too! Perfect for the Year of the Horse Lunar Chinese New year or as a fun treat for a Kentucky Derby party! Kids and adults alike love these cookies and they only take a few store-bought ingredients!
