Fall is my favorite season so when I saw that Little Debbie had Fall Gingerbread Cookies, I had to make them into Sweater Weather Fall Gingerbread Cookies! These cookies are already adorable and I absolutely love how soft and chewy they are. Really easy to make because they are ready to go right out of the box so you can get to the fun part-decorating!

You will need:

1 (6 oz.) box Little Debbie Fall Gingerbread Cookies
Orange cookie icing
Burgundy cookie icing
White cookie icing
Ivory cookie icing
Fall leaf sprinkles
Candy pumpkins
Disposable piping bags
*for the cookie icing, you can use store-bought and use food coloring to make it the color you would like, or you can use my recipe here.
Directions for Sweater Weather Fall Gingerbread Cookies:
First unwrap the cookies and flip them over. (I decorated the back side of the cookie). Then pipe on the face using white cookie icing.

Next pipe out and fill in the shape of the sweater on top of the cookie with ivory icing. Let dry completely. Pipe a white squiggle line on each leg.

Now using a “v” motion, pipe on the cable knit vertically. Pipe in a straight vertical line between the cable knit icing. Pipe a zigzag around the neck, sleeves and bottom of the sweater to finish.

Now for the burgundy sweater, ice the cookie sweater base with the burgundy icing. Next pipe 2 ivory and 1 orange lines horizontally across the cookie. Immediately run a toothpick vertically up and down the horizontal lines to make a blended pattern. Pipe a white squiggle line on each leg. Let dry completely.

Then pipe ivory icing in a zigzag around the neck, sleeves and bottom of the sweater to finish.

Next, for the orange sweater, ice the cookie base with the orange icing. Pipe a white squiggle line on each leg. Place a candy pumpkin in the center and sprinkle some leaf sprinkles around the pumpkin. Let dry completely.

Finally pipe the burgundy icing in a zigzag around the neck, sleeves and bottom of the sweater to finish.

Now you have the cutest Sweater Weather Fall Gingerbread Cookies to celebrate fall! These would be great for Thanksgiving too!
