You really can’t have a proper Masters watch party without the signature Masters Azalea Cocktail! This light and refreshing drink pairs perfectly with your pimento cheese sandwiches. Known as the signature drink of the Masters tournament, it’s name is inspired by the beautiful azalea bushes that line the Augusta National Golf Club. There are over 1000 stunning azalea bushes on just the 13th hole alone!

My husband is a PGA lifetime member so he is able to attend the Masters every year and he tells me about all of the great food! I love a good pimento cheese sandwich and he said my recipe is very close to the Masters pimento cheese sandwich! You will want to make some of the famous pimento cheese sandwiches as well to go with the azalea cocktail for the full Masters viewing experience!
You will need:
Ice
1 ¼ oz. vodka
5 oz. lemonade
½ oz grenadine
Directions for Masters Azalea Cocktail:
First fill a glass with ice
Next pour the vodka over the ice
Then add in the lemonade
Finally pour in the grenadine and stir
Garnish with an orange slice and cherry
*for an non-alcoholic version, simply leave out the vodka

It’s such a light and refreshing drink, bursting with my favorite fruit flavors in the lemonade, the grenadine and topped with an orange slice and a bright maraschino cherry! I have seen a few recipes that include pineapple juice, but it’s not listed as an ingredient according to the Masters official website. You will only need the vodka, lemonade and grenadine, just 3 simple ingredients and let me tell you, it’s perfection!

If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, just simply leave out the vodka
