This is THE BEST Loaded Broccoli Salad! It’s super easy to make and makes for the perfect picnic or potluck side salad. Everyone loves this, in fact at an office party it was the first to go and everyone asked for the recipe!

This yummy salad has lots of crunch and is the perfect combination of sweet and salty. Lots of great textures and fills you up without feeling heavy.
I love serving this salad for the Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays for a great side salad for dinner too.
You will need:
2 broccoli crowns, chopped into bite-size pieces (about 4 cups)
½ c diced red onion
¼ c diced celery
8 pieces of bacon, fried and crumbled
½ cup cashews
¼ cup sunflower seeds, shelled and roasted
½ cup raisins
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup white granulated sugar
1 TB white vinegar
Directions for Best Loaded Broccoli Salad:
First, chop the broccoli, onion, celery and bacon
Now put the chopped broccoli, diced onion, celery, bacon in a large bowl with the cashews, sunflower seeds and raisins.
Then, in a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar.
Pour the dressing over the ingredients in the large bowl and toss to coat everything thoroughly.
Now you have the absolute best loaded broccoli salad! I have this for a mid-day snack and it is the perfect thing to keep me energized without weighing me down!

I love the combination of nuts, fruit, bacon, onion and broccoli together with the sweet dressing. This salad has the perfect textures, but you can change up the ingredients. Substitute the cashews for walnuts or the raisins for dried cranberries! You can even add fresh halved grapes.
