This super easy Sesame Noodle Salad is something I have made for my family for YEARS. It’s just a staple in our household and a family favorite. We never get tired of this salad and I love it so much because it’s not only SUPER EASY TO MAKE, it’s just packed with all of the flavors we love!

I have used a variety of noodles over the years – just whatever I have on hand. Sometimes Chinese Noodles, even bow tie pasta! They all are delicious!
You will need:
1 lb. dry pasta (any kind really, I used what I had on hand – thick spaghetti)
3 ½ TB low sodium soy sauce
3 ½ TB sesame oil
Pinch granulated white sugar
3 TB rice vinegar
1 tsp of crushed red pepper
Toasted sesame seeds
4 sliced green onions
8 oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained
Directions for Super Easy Sesame Noodle Salad:
First cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse in cold water and place in large bowl.
Then, chop the green onion and drain the water chestnuts and add to the pasta
Next whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar and crushed red pepper
Now, pour the mixture over the pasta.
Mix thoroughly and top with more chopped green onions, sesame seeds and crushed red pepper to taste.
Make it a meal by adding:
- cooked chicken
- snow peas
- broccoli
- shredded carrots
- baby bok choy
- edamame
