Directions for Great Pumpkin Candle Holder Craft:
First, cut the tissue paper in small random shapes. Then brush a little Mod Podge on the OUTSIDE of the candle holder with a paint brush and place the bits of paper on top. You can overlap them a little and it’s best to work on a little section at a time.
Next, do this for the entire outside of the candle holder and let dry completely.
Now cut out the Snoopy pumpkin patch scene and attach it to the bottom front of the candle holder with Mod Podge.
Finally brush a coat of Mod Podge over the top of the tissue paper covering the entire holder. Let dry completely.
Place the battery votive candle inside the candle holder.
Now you have the cutest Great Pumpkin Candle Holder Craft! These are so fun for kids and adults to make! In fact my workshops at the Charles M. Schulz Museum had a kids class where we made these fun crafts and later that evening an adult workshop where we made crafts and treats along with wine tasting with a variety of wines made by Jean Schulz!
