They are perfect for picnics, potlucks or neighborhood parties. Great at holiday gatherings too, my dad’s absolute favorite appetizer!

You will need:
12 hard boiled eggs (see how to boil the perfect egg below or use an egg cooker)
½ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon yellow mustard (I use French’s)
¼ teaspoon dry ground mustard
*optional – paprika and chopped chives

How to boil eggs:
Place eggs in a large pan of water, making sure the water covers the eggs.
Boil the eggs on high for 1 minute and reduce heat to a very low simmer.
Simmer eggs for 17 minutes, remove eggs into cold water.
Let eggs sit in cold water for 15 minutes and peel the shells under cold running water
Directions for Classic Deviled Eggs:
Slice the eggs in half.
Pop out the yolks in a medium bowl. Place the whites on a plate or platter.
Add the mayonnaise and mustards to the yolks and mix – I use a hand mixer so they’re extra creamy
Place yolks back into the egg whites using a spoon or you can make them pretty by piping the yolks in with a piping tip and bag.
Sprinkle paprika and chives on top if desired
