This easy cherry cobbler recipe is not just easy, it’s SUPER EASY! And delicious!! This is a great go-to potluck recipe or an anytime dessert recipe. It’s my husband’s favorite and I really don’t mind making it because it takes just 5 minutes to prep! The main thing to remember is not to stir the ingredients together in the pan.

You will need:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cans cherry pie filling

Directions for Easy Cherry Cobbler:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place 9 X 13″ pan in the oven with the stick of butter until the butter is melted. Remove pan from oven when butter is melted.
In a bowl mix milk, flour, sugar, and baking powder and pour on top of hot butter. DO NOT STIR.
Next, pour 3 cups cherries (about 1 1/2 cans) on top and DO NOT STIR.
Bake 45 minutes or until golden.
You can throw together this cherry cobbler in less than 5 minutes and then just sit back and wait for it to bake! It’s so super easy and SO GOOD! Serve with a little ice cream or whipped cream on top. This dessert is perfect for a potluck or picnic – fun dessert idea for the 4th of July or a quick no-fuss Thanksgiving dessert. Great for after school or a weekday dessert after the family dinner.
To make a peach cobbler, just substitute 2 cans of peaches with syrup instead of the canned cherries.
